The Virgin Islands Energy Office (VIEO) extends our sincere thanks to our community and all of our partners for helping make the Virgin Islands Resiliency Gateway (VIRG) battery distribution a success.

Through strong collaboration with the Department of Human Services (DHS), Continuum Care Hospice & Home Health, our distribution partners, community organizations, and dedicated VIEO staff, we were able to deliver critical backup power resources to residents with medical needs across the Territory.

We are grateful to everyone who helped identify participants, coordinate logistics, communicate with residents, and ensure batteries reached the people who needed them most.
